About The Position

What does Dataloop do?

Dataloop is a one-stop-shop for building and deploying powerful AI solutions – data labeling,

automating data ops, customizing production pipelines, and weaving the human-in-the-loop for data

validation. This eliminates data challenges for companies, allowing them to focus their resources on

their core business. Our vision is to make machine learning-based systems accessible, affordable

and scalable for all.

We’re looking for a sharp Business Data Scientist to join our Business Performance Group. You will

be reporting to the Chief of Staff and responsible for the company core business data engineering

and machine learning, enabling data-driven decision-making and promoting strategic planning for

the entire company.

You will plan and design data flows, models, and reporting, work with large-scale datasets, create

and maintain data flow within different applications and systems using advanced integration tools

as well as be a focal point when it comes to Dataloop’s access to data.


Responsibilities:

● Construct and model company data into data warehouses.

● Create dashboards, alerts and reports to support ongoing analysis and monitoring of cross-

department production performance.

● Work with various stakeholders within the organization to understand business needs,

document and prioritize requirements, and help them effectively use data and analytical

tools.

● Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

● Work closely with various departments in the organization to create or enhance complex

model developments

● Create visualization and reporting solutions to be used by departments BI teams, and make

adjustments and extensions according to requirements.

● Proactively identify gaps in data collection and define processes to complete correct and

updated live data.

● Be involved in the entire data development process, including business knowledge,

methodology, quality assurance, and maintenance

Requirements

● The ability to organize data using Python into data warehouses like Snowflake or Google

BigQuery.

● The ability to use the prepared data for modeling key metrics;

● Advanced SQL skills with experience in querying large and complex datasets;

● Extensive understanding of Data Warehouse best practice, experience

with designing DWH architecture;

● Experience with BI & visualization tools (Tableau or Sisense, Looker - big advantage)

● Experience in creating reports and dashboards - a huge advantage.

● Familiarity with ETL processes, REST APIs, tools, techniques and frameworks;

● Strong communication skills and excellent English is a must (the interview may be

conducted in English)

● High level analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail

● Quick and independent learner with the ability to work in a multi-task environment, ability to

lead and drive interfaces.

● Presentation skills

● Bachelor's degree in Engineering, information systems, mathematics, or other

numerate/analytical degree equivalent or army unit equivalent

● Experience working in a BI developer / BI Modeling / Data

analyst position in a data-rich environment is an advantage.
